Special Olympics in Albury

Last weekend we went to Albury for the Special Olympics Winter Games. There were hundreds of people there ! We lost our first game and won the second game. We had Maccas for breakfast and lunch. Happy days !!!

Our friends The Mannings, from Wagga came to watch me play. And we went to Hoggs Breath Cafe for dinner with them. We are going back to Albury for another holiday with the Mannings, the Mc Harrys and the Watsons in November.

Lots of holiday fun

I went back to school last week. I had so much fun in the school holidays. The first weekend I went to Bright with mum and my friend Anthony. We had lots of fun!

We went to the deer and emu farm. There were lots of different animals there. I liked feeding the goats best. Some of them were soooo cute.

This is Anthony feeding the deer. There was a big sign that said be careful he might get angry! So we WERE very careful !!! We were a bit scared feeding the emus and ostriches, cos they poke their long necks through the wire.

Mum made us a big healthy breakfast. Mmmm bacon and eggs and spaghetti

We went for a walk down to the creek. Anthony was a bit scared on the bridge! Look how he is standing.

We went to my favorite restaraunt. The Cosy Kangaroo. Guees what we had to eat... Katie Koalas Cheeseburger!!! and a Coke spider.

Then the Cats played in the Grand Final !!! And they won. We had a big party at home and at half time everyone sang Happy Birthday to me.

It was my 14th Birthday on Tuesday. We had dinner with the Parkos and Nana Green and Papa and Sally, we got Khan Curry Hut take away for dinner.

Mum remembered my email address !!!!!

Well here we are back into blogging. We haven't posted in ages cos mum forgot my email address.

I have just started school holidays. Yipeeeeeeee.

I am 13 !!!

On Monday it was my 13th birthday. We had a party with lots of cousins and friends.

Who came? Cleo, Lachie, Mitch, Jamie, Darcy, Finn, Saxon, Gem, Cooper, Tex, Xavier, Issaiah, April, Ivy, Maurice, and lots of mums and dads!

Mum did heaps of party food, and we all had a swim and spa. I got heaps of cool presents and had so much fun! Here's some photos of the day.

Special Olympics

I played my basketball game last night. It was my first game with the Special Olympics squad. This game was to get us ready for a tournament in Dandenong in November. As our Geelong club has 2 C grade teams, we were split into two groups and this game was for some of us to qualify and also to see how we play and make the teams even.

I was in the Royals team, cos our tops were royal blue. I had heaps of fun! Our team came second, and we all got ribbons! Mum was happy, cos I didn't throw a tantrum when we didn't win!

The snow

I just had a fantastic weekend up at Bright. I went with dad and we met our friends Kev and Luke from Wagga there. On Saturday we went tobogganing up at Mt Buffalo. There was heaps of snow up there!

Then for tea on Saturday night we went to the Cosy Kangaroo, of course! Dad knows there will be a tantrum if I don't get to go there when we are in Bright hehehe. I had a hamburger with chips and a coke spider drink. MMMMmmmmm they are so good!

My new glasses

Sorry it has been so long since our last post! Mother forgot my acount details!!! But it's all good, she has managed to work it out, so here I am!

Yesterday I got some glasses. I used to wear them when I was very little, but then the eye specialist told us we could have a break for a few years. last week we had a check up and he told mum that I really do need to wear glasses now.

So we went shopping at OPSM. Well mum went in and I stood out the front with my arms crossed and told the lady "I don't wear glasses, I don't need it" They talked me into trying some on, and I did check myself out in the mirror and actually I look pretty good! Well I thought so anyway!!!

Dad went and picked them up yesterday. When he showed me I was not impressed and I told him too that I don't wear glasses! So mum had a chat to me and explained that I might be able to see the tv bettr if I tried them on. She won, of course, and I put them on.

Wow! I can see so much better!!! I think I really like my glasses. I took them off for a while but then I put them back on cos they make everything look so good. I know I have to wear them everyday now and I am getting used too them. Everyone at basketball yesterday told me how cool I look, so I guess I will keep wearing them!!!
